Cruikshank Cleaning Contractors is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team. This role primarily involves routine cleaning and maintenance duties in commercial and residential settings, with occasional heavy-duty cleaning tasks as required. The ideal candidate is flexible, hardworking, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Clean and disinfect washrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Empty garbage and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal
- Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues
- Periodically perform heavy-duty cleaning tasks such as:
- Deep cleaning of floors (e.g., stripping, waxing, buffing)
- Carpet cleaning and spot treatment
- Window washing (interior and exterior, where applicable)
- Moving light to moderately heavy furniture or equipment
- Post-construction or seasonal deep cleaning

Qualifications:

- Previous cleaning experience is an asset




- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to work location is required
- Valid G class driver’s license.
- Satisfactory criminal background check, mandatory.
- Must be eligible to be insured and bonded

- Flexible schedule, which may include evenings or early mornings
- Physical work involving standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks

Pay: $17.80-$23.50 per hour
