Speech-Language Pathologist (Contract)

Part-Time (Flexible) | Opportunity to Grow to Full-Time

About KIN Integrated Child Health

KIN Integrated Child Health is an one stop child health service place, purpose-built clinic redefining how care is delivered to children and families. We believe that children do not grow in silos—and neither should their care. That’s why KIN brings together speech-language pathology, psychology, and occupational therapy under one cohesive, team-oriented model.

At KIN, we are not just offering services—we are building a developmental ecosystem where children are understood in the context of their relationships, environments, and growth stages. Our work is grounded in clinical excellence, but equally in warmth, connection, and real-life impact.

We are intentionally building a team that:

- Values whole-child, integrated care over isolated treatment
- Thrives in collaborative, cross-disciplinary environments
- Is committed to high-quality, evidence-based practice
- Wants to be part of something growing, creative, and meaningful

This is a clinic designed for clinicians—beautifully built, thoughtfully operated, and focused on allowing you to do your best clinical work.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a contract basis, starting part-time with flexible hours and a strong pathway toward full-time.

This is an opportunity to step into a supported, referral-rich environment while maintaining the flexibility and autonomy of contract work.

You’ll be a strong fit if you:

- Want flexibility without sacrificing caseload growth
- Value being part of an integrated care team (SLP + Psych + OT)

Clinical Responsibilities:

- Support a range of areas, including:
- Speech sound disorders
- Expressive & receptive language
- Early language development (toddlers & preschool)

- Fluency (stuttering)
- Social communication

Collaborative Work:

- Work closely with psychologists and occupational therapists
- Participate in case collaboration and integrated care planning
- Support families with practical, functional strategies

Work Structure & Flexibility

- Part-time, adaptable scheduling (you build your caseload)
- In-person and virtual service options

- Clear opportunity to grow into a full-time caseload quickly

What We Offer

We’ve designed this role to remove the typical barriers of private practice while maximizing your clinical focus and growth.

- Competitive contractor compensation
- Strong, consistent referral pipeline
- Full administrative and billing support
- Access to a modern, fully equipped clinic space
- A truly integrated care model (not just co-located, but collaborative)
- Professional autonomy with a supportive team environment
- Optional access to extended health benefits

Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Registered and in good standing with Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists

- You won’t feel isolated in your discipline
