The full-time Lead Merchandiser, is responsible for successfully operating a floral department, teach,
train and develop Part time merchandisers. The successful candidate will be able to elevate company
standards, achieve sales goals and meet client’s expectations.
Duties Include:
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Assess customers’ needs and provide assistance and information on product features.
- “Go the extra mile” to drive sales.
- Maintain stock and cleanliness of floral department.
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
- Follow all merchandising plan-o-grams, programs, policies and procedures.
- Ensure store is staffed
Additional Duties Include:
- Uphold a professional working relationship between store managers, customers, part time staff
and team leader to successfully manage a store within a store.
- Complete tasks, paperwork and assignments on time.
- Collaborate with the team leader coach on customizing the merchandising plan-o-gram to drive
sales and meet the needs of the community.
- Maintain accurate pricing,
signage and scanning of floral products for profit and customer
credibility.
- Establish relationships with customers to drive repeat business.
- Provide monthly schedule for part-time hours to team lead, one month in advance
- Implement and maintain dress code and work ethics.
- If required fill in shift should part time not be available.

- Proficiency in English.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

- Reliable mode of transportation.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be versatile in regards to scheduling.
- The position will commence with a 3 month probationary period
