We're a tight residential / light-commercial shop based in Milton, growing into bigger industrial and commercial work. We're looking for a 309A who wants to take ownership of jobs, not just punch a clock.
What you'd do
- Lead installations end-to-end: residential, light commercial, occasional industrial — wiring, panels, service upgrades, troubleshooting and repair
- Read prints, plan the layout, and run the work in office; mentor an apprentice when paired up
- Keep work compliant with the OESC and local AHJ requirements; pull and close ESA permits as needed
- Maintain accurate job notes and time tracking for billing
- Must have
- Ontario 309A C of Q in good standing
- Solid command of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and current bulletins
- Comfortable reading prints and single-line diagrams
- Valid G-class licence + clean abstract
- Working at Heights certification (current)
Nice to have, Compensation & fit
- Master Electrician licence
- BAS / control systems exposure, EV charger installs, or service upgrades
- $40.00–$45.00/hr based on experience, plus company truck for qualified candidates and tools allowance
- Steady year-round work
