Premier Fire & Flood Restoration Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team in Edmonton.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of restoration and reconstruction projects, working independently and as part of a team to return residential and commercial properties to their pre-loss condition.
Responsibilities:
- Install baseboards, casing, and interior trim.
- Install and machine interior and exterior doors.
- Install cabinetry and interpret blueprints.
- Complete basic framing as required.
- Perform drywall installation and repairs.
- Install insulation as required.
- Assist with painting and finishing work.
- Work closely with Project Managers and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency restoration work.
Qualifications:
- Experience in residential and/or commercial carpentry.
- Solid finishing carpentry skills, including baseboard, casing, door installation,
and cabinet installation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Basic drywall and insulation experience required.
- Drywall taping, mudding, and painting experience are considered strong assets.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Must provide your own hand tools.
- Ability to work overtime, participate in the on-call rotation, and travel out of town when required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
