Project Coordinators and Field Engineers

Progressive Ventures Construction is seeking career-minded individuals who are looking to grow with our company and advance their careers over time.

Responsibilities:

- Provides in office technical, administrative and project coordination support to project management and field operations.

- Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to assist with planning, documentation, quality control, scheduling, HSE and daily project execution.

The successful candidate will:

· Have knowledge of the general construction industry, sub-contractors, and suppliers.

· Understand blueprints, plans and construction specifications and be able to ensure what is being built is consistent with what the plans specify.

· Support or complete project tracking reports, budgets and project specific documentation.

· Be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.





· Be willing to be a positive part of our team and keep jobs moving forward on track by taking on a variety of tasks as needed.

· Skills in various software including Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, and AutoCAD are an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent (Shift Position)

Pay Range: $35 - $45 per hour

Additional pay:

Work Schedules:

Shift Position

· 10-12 hour days (Typical)

· 14 & 7 Rotation (Typical)

· Additional Overtime as needed

Experience:

· Construction project coordination, field engineering, or project administrative experience.

· Experience working on civil, industrial, commercial, or infrastructure construction projects.

· Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, contracts and project documentation.

· Experience preparing RFI’s, submittals, change orders and progress reports.

License/Certification:

· Driving License (preferred)

· Additional industry trainings including Intermediate or Basic first aid, Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform & Confined Space are assets.

· Trade Certificate, Engineering Degree or post secondary education is an asset.
