Roofing & Solar Sales Representative (Remote)Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated, self-driven, and energetic Roofing & Solar Sales Representative to join our growing team.

This is a fully remote position with flexible working hours, ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, and helping homeowners improve their homes with quality roofing and solar solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for following up on company-provided leads, meeting with homeowners, preparing quotations, and closing sales. Candidates who are comfortable with door-to-door sales, networking, and generating their own business will have excellent earning potential.

While this is a remote position, occasional meetings and training sessions will be held at our office in Markham, Ontario.

Responsibilities

- Follow up on qualified leads provided by the company.
- Contact homeowners to understand their roofing and solar needs.
- Schedule and conduct in-home consultations and property assessments.
- Prepare and present skilled quotations and project proposals.
- Build strong relationships with homeowners and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- Generate new business through door-to-door canvassing, neighbourhood marketing, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
- Identify sales opportunities and educate homeowners on roofing replacement, repairs, and solar solutions.
- Negotiate and close sales while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update sales activities in the company CRM.
- Coordinate with office staff and project managers to ensure a smooth transition from signed contract to project completion.




- Attend occasional meetings and training sessions at the Markham office.

Qualifications

- Previous sales experience is preferred.
- Experience in roofing, solar, construction, home improvement, windows & doors, HVAC, or other in-home sales is a strong asset.
- Door-to-door sales experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable meeting homeowners and working outdoors when necessary.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Basic computer skills and experience using email, Microsoft Office, and CRM software.
- Bilingual candidates are an asset.
- Existing customer relationships or the ability to generate personal leads is highly desirable.

Pay: $36,300.00-$124,705.71 per year
