JOB TITLE: Freelance Sales Coordinator

General Summary:

Zodiac Impex Inc. is a freight forwarding company which is looking forward to establish its business in Air Freight & Ocean Freight. We are currently looking for Freelance Sales Coordinator with an excellent understanding of Transportation.

Compensation: Based on percentage of net sales

CORE FUNCTIONS:

- Promotes/sells/secures orders from prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
- Demonstrates services to potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.

DETAILS OF FUNCTION:

- Promote company and/or client services and solutions related to air cargo/ sea cargo to potential clients.
- Acquire recent customers for domestic, International and trans-border air cargo by maximizing all potential opportunities with existing clients and through cold calling and/or meeting with new prospects.




- Develop international agents to strengthen operational network in order to provide cost effective and efficient solutions.
- Research sources and markets for developing prospective customers.
- Provide rates and alternative freight solutions for potential clients.
- Participate in sales meetings and produce weekly reports.
- Report to Business Manager on sales plan development, weekly personal itinerary and market competitive development.
- Perform other work as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must possess experience in selling services to businesses.
- Possession of a post-secondary degree
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach).
- Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software.
- Valid driver’s license.
