Are you a high-performing Service Advisor who takes pride in turning a stressful vehicle visit into a five-star experience? Barry Cullen Chevrolet Cadillac is looking for a customer-focused professional to join a well-established, high-volume service team that has been a cornerstone of the Guelph community for over 55 years.

You will be one of three advisors managing a busy GM service operation that covers Chevrolet and Cadillac customers and a full fleet of GM vehicles. The team behind you includes a service manager, a shop foreman, three customer service administrators, and 14 technicians. An on-site collision repair centre rounds out the operation. This is a shop that moves.

What You Can Earn

This is a base salary plus commission role with meaningful earning potential for advisors who perform. Total compensation includes a $50,000 base, individual and group commission on customer pay labour and parts, a monthly CSI bonus tied to customer satisfaction, and an ongoing spiff program. Total earnings for our advisors have ranged from $65,000 to over $85,000 depending on performance.

What You Will Do

- Serve as the primary point of contact for service customers from write-up through to vehicle delivery




- Communicate clearly and proactively throughout the repair process so customers are never left wondering
- Recommend maintenance and repairs with honesty and transparency
- Manage repair orders, timelines, and technician coordination across a high-volume shop
- Follow up with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction and support strong CSI scores
- Work closely with technicians, the parts team, shop foreman, and service manager to keep things moving
- Use Kimoby and our BDC as tools for customer communication and follow-up

What We Are Looking For

- Proven experience as a Service Advisor in a dealership workplace
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage difficult conversations with professionalism and genuine care
- The ability to stay organized and focused when juggling multiple customers and repair orders in a fast-paced shop
- A genuine commitment to the customer experience, not just throughput
- Familiarity with a dealer management system (Quorum experience is a bonus but any DMS background transfers easily)
- Experience with GM or other OEM product lines is an asset and training will be provided
- A team-oriented mindset and the reliability your advisors, technicians, and CSAs will count on
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
