Accounting Technician

Rudi Kovacko & Associates is a family-oriented Canadian based company located in Ontario. As a result of our growth, we have a need for an Accounting Technician.

The Accounting Technician is responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, completing the month-end closing cycle and facilitating corporate financial consolidation of the Rudi Kovacko & Associates business unit.

What You’ll Do

- Demonstrates and promotes Rudi Kovacko & Associates core values (Act with Integrity and Respect, Foster Teamwork, Focus on the Customer, Strive for Excellence and Innovation, Project Passion and Energy and Have Fun).

· Maintain a complete set of accounting books in compliance with US GAAP

· Post Accounts Payable and ensure timely and accurate payments

· Record Accounts Receivable and monitor AR aging; post cash receipts

· Reconcile cash and bank accounts

· Process payroll for employees, including deductions and ROEs

· Maintain tax compliance including preparation and filing of GST/HST, PST, and others

· Complete necessary foreign exchange journal entries and adjustments for non-CAD denominated transactions

· Provide financial data to Crane Group for monthly financial consolidation

· Maintain an environment of financial control

- May perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Previous experience working in a multi-currency ledger preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy




- Ability to collaborate with others throughout the organization

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 CAD

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
