Pirates of Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster, disrupting the coffee industry with a fresh approach.

This is an exciting time to join Pirates of Coffee as we are currently in a growth phase and we have a global customer base (North America, Asia, Middle East, Europe).

We are regularly introducing new and innovative products to push coffee to new levels and we are focused on educating coffee consumers about specialty coffee.

ABOUT YOU

- Completion of secondary education is required
- You thrive in a fast-paced service setting
- Experienced in the preparation of specialty coffee drinks
- Experienced preparing espresso-based drinks
- Experienced in the preparation of manual brew drinks (v60, Chemex, Aeropress, etc.)
- Excellent customer service skills
- You are a certified Food Handler

RESPONSIBILITIES





- Prepare/serve coffee and related products at our roastery café
- Engage with customers and educate them about our coffees
- Provide excellent customer service
- Plan and manage coffee events at the roastery to build community and to build buzz around our brand
- Enter orders into Point of Sale machine and collect customer payments
- Set up pop-up coffee stations at farmers markets and other events where we can serve our coffee
- Maintain a clean, organized and protected space
- General tasks (organization and cleaning)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Experience:

- specialty coffee barista: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Specialty Coffee Certification (preferred)
