Overview
We are seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Tanning Receptionist/ Consultant to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while promoting tanning services and retail products in a knowledgeable and responsible manner. The ideal candidate demonstrates a genuine interest in the tanning and wellness industry, maintains a polished and professional demeanor, and is committed to creating a positive client experience.

Candidates must be experienced tanners with a robust understanding of tanning practices, equipment, and skincare.

This is a year-round (non-seasonal) position. Candidates must be available to work approximately 10–15 hours per week, with flexibility for both morning and afternoon/evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide a professional and welcoming experience by greeting and assisting clients promptly upon arrival.
- Educate clients on tanning services, equipment, and skincare products through clear and informed recommendations.
- Maintain strict standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout all tanning areas and equipment.




- Deliver accurate guidance on safe tanning practices (SmartTan certification required or willingness to obtain).
- Promote services and retail products through appropriate and effective sales techniques.
- Manage front desk operations, including appointment scheduling, client records, and payment processing.
- Respond to client inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a courteous and solution-oriented manner.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support daily operations and uphold service standards.

Qualifications and Experience

- Previous experience in customer service or guest-facing roles is required.
- Retail or sales experience, preferably within the beauty, wellness, or personal care industry, is considered an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to maintaining workplace cleanliness and safety standards.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Interest in tanning and willingness to represent the brand professionally.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
