As a Human Services Counsellor, you will work closely with individuals using drugs or alcohol. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing care plans, and maintaining a supportive milieu. Your expertise in addiction counselling and community resource knowledge will guide clients through their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop therapeutic relationships with clients seeking withdrawal support
- Complete client intakes, transfers, and discharges
- Monitor clients for signs of overdose and withdrawal




- Facilitate evidence-based group interventions and individual counselling
- Engage in crisis prevention and intervention as needed

Requirements:

- Diploma in Human Service Addiction Studies or equivalent
- Experience in addiction counselling preferred
- Knowledge of best practices in addictions care
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in clinical documentation systems
