Stantec’s Geospatial Services Group has a full-time opportunity for Survey Crew Chief based in Edmonton, Alberta.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Performing a variety of surveys, including topographic,



legal and construction surveys with minimal supervision
- Field work may also include specialized services, such as 3D laser scanning, bathymetric, unmanned aerial systems and buried utility locating. Experience in these areas would be considered an asset
- Actively participate and promote Stantec’s Health & Safety culture and awareness
- Effective communication with Project Managers and Field Coordinators as to progress updates, scope changes, HSSE reporting and other project impacts
- Act as a company representative, liaising directly with client field representatives and land owners
- Some office technical survey work may be required in this position
- Solid problem-solving skills in a field environment
- Effective communication skills - verbal and written; ability to produce accurate and legible field notes
- Manage information flow from field to office and prepare clear, concise, and accurate field notes, records, and calculations
