Stantec, headquartered in Burnaby, BC, is actively seeking experienced engineers with a strong background in electrical systems and substation design. You will work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams to create effective project designs while engaging in hands-on site assessments.

This role emphasizes both technical expertise and effective mentoring of junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct power flow analysis and lightning protection studies
- Design major equipment layouts and technical documentation
- Collaborate with disciplines for complex technical challenges




- Assist in proposal preparation and project planning
- Ensure quality engineering services through QA/QC procedures

Requirements:

- At least 6 years of detailed engineering for high voltage systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (P. Eng required)
- Familiarity with various engineering software such as WinIGS
- Excellent interpersonal and multitasking abilities
- Valid driver’s license
