Official Internal Job Title: Prevention AdvisorStatus: RegularJob Description: As the Risk Control Consultant your role is to conduct surveys on commercial property and liability risks as well as commercial auto fleet risks. You will be required to assess various properties on behalf of Unica Insurance and provide loss prevention recommendations to reduce the frequency and severity of losses. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining a collaborative relationship with the Leadership and Underwriters in the Commercial Insurance department and the Claims department.Vacancy: 1 Permanent Salary Range: $78,874 - $98,592/year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.What We Offer

Assess commercial property and commercial auto risks to identify and evaluate exposuresEvaluate operational and safety practices including exposures and hazardsCommunicate exposures, loss information, recommendations and opinion of risk to assist the underwriting departmentTravel to insured's properties to complete risk assessmentsWhile touring the properties, take photographs, measure rooms and the structure, inspect features such as fire prevention systems, heating equipment,



and fuel storage tanksSubmit reports in a narrative format to the underwriting departmentAdhere to customer requirements and quality standardsDevelop presentations and seminars relating to property and liability risk mitigation as well as fleet risk managementMaintain confidentiality and act with integrityQualifications
