and suppliers to gather pricing information and negotiate termsAssist in meetings with clients and partnersCo-ordinate subcontractor submissions during the tendering process via phone in a professional and courteous mannerCo-ordinate and conduct site visits to assess conditions that impact project costs and timelinesCo-ordinate submission of tender documentsPrepare shop drawings as requiredManage cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle to ensure budgets are maintainedReview contracts, scope of work, and project schedules to align estimates with client expectationsAssist in the development of bid proposals that clearly outline scope, costs, and timelinesRequirementsCompletion of relevant college or university program preferably in Civil EngineeringMinimum of 3 years relevant experienceProven experience in landscape construction estimating within commercial and/or civil sectorsStrong knowledge of landscape construction management processes, contracts, and project management principlesFamiliar with bidding process and self-motivatedAble to interpret landscape drawingsProficiency with Microsoft ExcelExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be detail orientedAble to handle multiple tenders and deadlinesExcellent negotiation skills for working with subcontractors and suppliersSolid understanding of construction site operations, cost control, and pricing strategiesAbility to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documentsJoin us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering quality construction projects!
