Position Overview

ZETA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead electric boiler projects from procurement to commissioning. The Project Manager will coordinate engineers, suppliers, contractors, and clients to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and technically accurate.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage equipment selection, quotations, purchase orders, vendors, and deliveries.
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement trackers, and progress reports.
- Monitor boiler installation and keep project milestones on track.
- Provide technical requirements to vendors and manufacturers.
- Review supplier drawings, datasheets, submittals, and other documents.




- Lead mechanical and electrical engineers through each project stage.
- Identify risks, delays, and technical issues and help resolve them.
- Maintain project records and update senior management.

Ideal Candidate

- Five to ten years of project management or industrial engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or related field.
- Experience with industrial equipment, boilers, energy systems, utilities, or process systems.
- Knowledge of equipment procurement, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and vendor-management skills.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Available for hybrid work from ZETA’s Richmond Hill office.

Preferred Qualifications

- Ability to read P&IDs;, electrical drawings, mechanical drawings, datasheets, and technical specifications.
- Experience creating or reviewing CAD drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Familiarity with electric boilers, pressure equipment, steam systems, or medium-voltage equipment.
- Knowledge of CRN, CSA, ASME, and other applicable requirements.
- Project Management Skilled certification or similar training.
