Join BFM Mission Thrift Store in Cranbrook, BC, as a Volunteer Board Member. This role is a chance to support faith-based community initiatives while ensuring effective governance.
The BFM Foundation (Canada) is looking for Volunteer Board Members for their Mission Thrift Store. Through your participation, you will help fulfill governance duties, uphold the organization’s strategic objectives, and engage in community-oriented ministry efforts. Your skills will foster a positive impact in literacy and church training programs globally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure effective board governance and compliance
• Conduct board business with accountability
• Participate in strategic planning activities
• Pray and support community initiatives
• Attend monthly and annual meetings as required
Requirements:
• Follower of Jesus Christ adhering to mission values
• Solid strategic planning and critical thinking skills
• Experienced in governance or non-profit management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Availability of 5-10 hours per month
Support the mission of BFM Thrift Store and use your governance skills for community enrichment.
