Join Actalent's engineering team in Ottawa as a Systems Engineer, focusing on 30+ MacLean vehicle types. You'll ensure our products meet high safety and quality standards onsite, five days a week.
In this fully onsite position, you will play an essential role in supporting the development and execution of internal processes within the Engineering V-model of design. Key skills include systems engineering, test case design, and functional safety. You will also be responsible for risk assessments and the development of safety concepts in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support engineering teams for 30+ MacLean vehicle types
• Establish and execute internal processes for the V-model
• Conduct systematic reviews of standards and specifications




• Lead risk assessments and safety concept developments
• Maintain documentation for system architecture and compliance
Requirements:
• Proven experience in systems engineering
• Familiarity with test case design and requirements management
• Electrical or software engineering background
• Experience with SolidWorks or AutoCAD
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance
