Position: Avionics Technician in the A220 commercial aircraft program. Location: Mirabel, Quebec, Canada.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Install and repair electrical and avionics components.
- Perform functional tests and calibration on aircraft systems.
- Diagnose and inspect avionics systems such as communication and navigation systems, radar, detection circuits, calculators, cameras, recording, automatic controls, dashboards, and all electrical equipment.
- Repair avionics systems as needed.
- Make changes according to service bulletins while respecting industry standards.
- Other related functions that may vary depending on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications
- A D.C.S. or A.C.S. Technical Avionics OR.
- An E License.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the avionics field within the last 5 years.
- Demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and work well in a multidisciplinary team.
- Require work in a confined space on a regular basis.
- Require work at heights of up to 30 feet on a regular basis.
- Ability to adopt and maintain different physical positions as required by the job.
- Awareness of potential compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity.
