Our client in the insurance sector is seeking a contract based Senior IT Business Analyst . This role is accountable for eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and system requirements while ensuring those requirements are met throughout the full project lifecycle - from discovery through implementation and production support.

Duration: 6 months to start

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the primary point of contact between business partners and project teams.
- Facilitate discussions to clearly understand business problems, objectives, and constraints.
- Analyze current-state and future-state business processes across enterprise domains.
- Translate business needs into transparent, complete, and testable functional and non-functional requirements.
- Apply modeling techniques such as business process flows, use cases, workflow diagrams, and data models.
- Ensure full traceability between business requirements, solution design, and test scenarios.
- Lead and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including scenario definition, test case validation, and defect triage.




- Collaborate with QA teams to define integration, system, and performance testing requirements.
- Support implementation and deployment activities, including data conversion and post-go-live validation.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production system issues in collaboration with developers and technical support teams.
- Perform data analysis and investigation using Oracle SQL to support defect resolution and business validation.
- Ensure operational stability and continuous improvement of production systems.

Requirements:

- 7+ years of experience performing business analysis for custom system development on large, complex initiatives.
- Experience with requirements definition, Business process modeling, Use cases and workflows, Data modeling
- Solid understanding of relational databases; hands-on experience with Oracle SQL required.
- Experience applying custom system development methodologies.
- Excellent facilitation, consultative, and stakeholder management skills.
