LAW CLERK – TORONTO As an integral member of the team, you will bring: Strong experience supporting corporate governance and regulatory functions Exceptional organizational and record-keeping skills High attention to detail and process orientation Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced environment Comfort working with senior executives and board members A continuous improvement mindset with interest in leveraging technology and automation Accountabilities: Board & Governance Support Maintain board and committee work plans Prepare draft agendas and minutes Maintain minute books and track resolutions Obtain and manage all required signatures Digitize and maintain legacy minute books Act as administrative point of contact for directors Maintain and administer Diligent platform Leverage AI and automation tools to support governance processes Respond to audit and regulatory examination requests Corporate & Regulatory Administration Manage corporate filings Support corporate licensing for TGIC and TWSI Coordinate regulatory filings with OSFI and provincial regulators Manage insurance license filings Public Company Support Prepare and manage SEDI filings Legal Operations Support entity management system Drive process optimization and digitization initiatives Qualifications:



Completion of post-secondary education in Law Clerk or Paralegal program required 5+ years of experience in corporate law, governance, or regulatory environment Experience supporting public companies and board governance an asset Strong proficiency with document management systems and governance platforms (Diligent preferred) Advanced MS Office skills Experience in financial services or insurance an asset The expected compensation in this position is within the range of $90,000 - $100,000 This posting does not correspond to an existing vacancy but is part of our proactive recruitment efforts.
