Own end-to-end lifecycle after onboarding, focusing on winning direct deposit and helping users optimize personal finances in a single, liquid ecosystem. Primary Account Orchestrator: collaborate across product domains to orchestrate a Financial Hub where Spending, Lending, and Investing flow together.
Cash Flow Master: partner with the Card team to ensure a flawless point-of-sale experience and provide enriched, clear transaction histories. Financial Wellness Enabler: build features to make saving addictive and managing personal finances effortless. Direct Deposit Hunter: develop strategies to migrate payroll, bill payments, and other accounts to QFG by addressing friction points in bank switching. Money Movement Expert: deep knowledge of money movement rails (EFT, Interac) to collaborate with the money movement team for a seamless funding experience. Metrics Obsessive: monitor DAU and transaction velocity; work to increase Share of Wallet and position QFG as a primary account. Lead High-Stakes Integrations: manage vendor relationships and rollout mission-critical features. Hard Skills Product Sense & Design Business & Financial Acumen: understanding personal finance, connecting product data with business metrics Market & User Research: qualitative and quantitative research to understand client needs and market trends User-Centric: turning complex problems into simple, intuitive product experiences Technical Fluency: discuss architecture and trade-offs with engineers Agile Execution: full product development lifecycle (Scrum/Agile) Analytical & Strategy: data-driven insight generation, metric definition, prioritization Execution & Stakeholder Management:
launching financial products with stakeholder communication Soft Skills Strong Bias for Action Ownership & Impact Mindset Adaptability Collaborative Mindset & Candor Innovation & Competitive Mindset Qualifications 3-5 years of FinTech, financial services, or banking experience in digital product management with a focus on core banking Expertise with P&L management and cross-sell strategy Exceptional communication across stakeholders (engineering, design, data, marketing, operations, customer service, legal, compliance) Ability to motivate, influence, drive change, handle ambiguity, and make informed recommendations Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills Strong financial acumen and ability to lead from strategy to implementation Experience leading in an agile environment Expertise in money movement rails (EFT, Interac) and retail banking logic Compensation Base salary range: $135,000 - $185,000 The final compensation package will be commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). Includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
