The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Accountant toown the end-to-end processes related to capital asset management and reporting. This role will also support the IWBC Finance team in other areas as assigned by management.A successful candidate will be equallycomfortable maintaininga clean set of accounting records, workingthrough challenginganalyticsandbuilding relationships with business partners across the organization.

What You’ll Do:

- Manage capital asset accounting and Capital Work-in-Progress (CIP) tracking across winery infrastructure and multi-year vineyard development projects.
- Accountableforintercompany construction accounting, including the validation of labor allocations, contractor recharges, and equipment billing from non-arms-length entities.
- Perform month-end close activities, includingfixed-assetreconciliations, working papers, andgeneral ledger accountanalysis.
- Maintain an up to date andaccurateasset ledger providing guidancein accordance withIFRS on asset acquisition,creationand disposition.
- Partner with stakeholders in the asset requisition process, including assisting with ROI and cost benefit analysis.
- Supportannual capital budgeting,insurance reporting, and ad-hoc capital financial analysis.
- Assistwith month-end, year-end, and audit-related requests and inquiries.
- Develop andmaintaincapital assetaccounting procedures, documentation, and SOPs.




- Participate in operational efficiency initiatives andidentifyopportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.

What You Bring:

- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in anassetintensive businessmanufacturing, beverage production, or distribution environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, ora relatedfield.
- CPA designation or active CPA candidatewould be considered an asset.
- Experience working with ERP systems and strongproficiencyin Excel.
- Familiarity withartificialintelligence tools such asCopilot, Gemini, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze complex data,identifytrends, and clearly communicate financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Proven experience partnering and collaborating with cross-functional teams and business leaders.
- Effective communicator with a positive, proactive, and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment whilemaintainingaccuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Continuous improvement mindset witha robust desireto learn, streamline processes, and drive results.

The typical hiring range for this position is $78,000 - $88,000 annually complemented by a bonus plan; the base pay isdeterminedby market location and job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
