Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse civil and commercial litigation practice.
- Represent clients before the courts and administrative tribunals.
- Draft proceedings, motions, legal opinions, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
- Attend examinations, mediations, settlement conferences, and court appearances.
- Communicate regularly with clients while providing practical, business-oriented legal advice.
- Collaborate closely with partners and colleagues on complex litigation matters.
Qualifications
- Member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec.
- Fully bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
- 2+ years of civil or commercial litigation experience (more senior candidates are encouraged to apply)
- Strong drafting, advocacy, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and client relationship abilities.
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
