Responsibilities
- Participate and lead Electrical Systems technical improvements & developments for existing and future airplane programs (optimize architectures, incorporate new technologies, etc.).
- Prepare, review or approve engineering documents related to electrical system changes on Challenger 3500/650 and Global 5500/6500/7500/8000 airplanes (production and in-service aircraft).
- Propose, elaborate, and test novel approaches to optimize business airplanes on aspects such as emissions reduction, costs, weight, performance and customer satisfaction.
- Lead technical investigations related to electrical or lighting systems.
- Conduct trade studies associated with new technology introduction and aircraft integration.
- Contribute to the Electrical Knowledge Domain to capture lessons learned and best industry practices (product & process) and mentor/guide junior team members.
- Manage interfaces with internal and external partners and suppliers for technical aspects.
- Represent the Electrical discipline with internal and external collaborators.
Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years in aircraft electrical system integration or related experience.
- Deep knowledge of relevant industry standards (RTCA/DO-160, SAE, MIL-STD, etc.) and airworthiness regulations and advisory materials (TCCA, FAA, EASA) pertaining to electrical systems.
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills to structure complex problems and maintain clarity across disciplines.
- Effective communication skills, able to tailor technical concepts and project updates to diverse audiences and clearly articulate status and risks to stakeholders at all levels.
- Leadership skills and motivation to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

The position is currently a hybrid of remote work from home and on-site work.
