Stantec’s Geospatial Services Group has a full-time opportunity for Survey Crew Chief based in Calgary, Alberta.

Your Key Responsibilities





- Performing a variety of surveys and buried facility locating with minimal supervision
- Conducting comprehensive topographic, legal, construction, bathymetric and as-built surveys
- Actively participate and promote Stantec’s Health & Safety culture and awareness
- Effective communication with Project Manager as to progress updates, scope changes, HSSE reporting and other project impacts
- Act as a company representative, liaising directly with client field representatives and land owners
- Some office technical survey work may be required in this position
- Solid problem solving skills in a field environment
Effective communication skills - verbal and written; ability to produce accurate and legible field notes
- Manage information flow from field to office and prepare clear, concise, and accurate field notes, records, and calculations
