Senior Business Project Manager

Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Duration: 12-month contract

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex enterprise initiatives within a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. This role will partner closely with business leaders, operational stakeholders, and delivery teams to drive projects from initiation through implementation while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, governance standards, budgets, and timelines.

The ideal candidate is an experienced project leader who excels at stakeholder engagement, managing competing priorities, navigating ambiguity, and delivering business outcomes across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of large, complex business initiatives.
- Develop project charters, roadmaps, integrated project plans, budgets, resource plans, and governance documentation.
- Partner with business leaders to define project objectives, scope, success measures, and delivery strategies.
- Manage project timelines, financials, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
- Facilitate executive steering committee meetings, governance forums, and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of project deliverables.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular status updates, forecasts, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Ensure adherence to organizational governance, risk management, and project delivery standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, increase operational efficiency, and enhance project outcomes.




- Mentor junior project managers and contribute to continuous improvement within the PMO.

Required Qualifications

- 10+ years of project management experience leading large, enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Experience delivering projects within the financial services industry.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple workstreams, diverse stakeholder groups, and complex organizational change.
- Strong experience managing project budgets, forecasting, resource planning, governance, and executive reporting.
- Proven ability to manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and competing priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience delivering projects using Waterfall methodologies.
- Ability to influence senior business leaders and build strong partnerships across business and operational teams.
- Comfortable working in complex, quick-paced environments with evolving priorities.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- PMP or equivalent Project Management certification.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
- Experience supporting business transformation, process improvement, or organizational change initiatives.
- Understanding of enterprise project delivery methodologies and governance frameworks.
