Join the Children’s Rehabilitation Services team as a Pediatric Audiologist in Red Deer, Alberta. You'll engage with children and youth, providing vital audiological assessments and consultations.
This part-time role primarily caters to patients ages 0-17, where you'll work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. Your expertise will guide assessments for hearing and balance disorders, supervise students, and inform program development. Enhancing the quality of life for children and their families through effective intervention plans is a key focus in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct audiological assessments for children and youth
• Provide counseling regarding hearing loss and balance dysfunction
• Supervise students and provide clinical guidance
• Develop intervention plans to reduce functional impacts
• Make referrals to appropriate agencies and professionals
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Audiology
• Active registration with ACSLPA or eligible to register
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Experience in pediatric audiology preferred
• Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
