AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. Network Engineering is seeking aTechnical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM)to help build the largest network in the world.As a TIPM, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary networking projects with the opportunity to shape, define and deliver new methods of delivering technology solutions at scale. You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure changes and upgrades across Amazon Data Centers.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram manage and monitor network infrastructure builds health, customer demand, anticipate risks, resolve issues and initiate corrective actionWork with stakeholders to define requirements and processesManage dependencies and interfaces between projects and negotiate trade-offsMentor others and actively participate in the hiring processManage multiple competing cross-organizational projects/programs simultaneouslyInteract with engineers, technicians, project managers and senior management dailyAnalyze, interpret and visualize data using Redshift, Oracle, Tableau, QuickSight,
and other BI toolsDrive automation initiatives and simplification efforts in engineering and project/program managementBasic Requirements5+ years of program management or technical project management experience5+ years of data center or network capacity planning, data center or network infrastructure program/project management, or related technical experienceBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related fieldsKnowledge of software development practices and data center/infrastructure/networking technologiesExperience with varying scenarios of infrastructure buildsPreferred RequirementsProject Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certificationExperience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a rapid-paced, deadline-driven environmentExperience with AWS, networks and operating systems8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projectsCompensationBase salary range: $128,100 – $214,000 CAD annually.
