This is a senior, hands‑on finance leadership opportunity for someone who wants to do more than report the numbers. The Controller will work closely with site leadership, corporate finance and operations to strengthen financial performance, improve visibility and support better business decisions across the organization. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, costing, controls and performance analysis while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial information. This role is ideally suited to a commercially minded finance leader who understands manufacturing operations and can translate financial information into practical recommendations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reportingPrepare and analyze monthly financial statements, management reports and operational performance metricsPartner with operations to evaluate margins, labour costs, material usage, overhead and plant performanceOversee product costing, inventory valuation, standard costs and variance analysisLead annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑range financial planningDevelop financial models and business cases to support capital investments and operational initiativesMonitor cash flow, working capital, accounts receivable,



accounts payable and inventory levelsStrengthen internal controls, accounting procedures and financial reporting processesCoordinate external audits, tax reporting and other compliance requirementsIdentify opportunities to improve profitability, reporting quality and operational efficiencySupport ERP, reporting and process‑improvement initiativesLead, coach and develop members of the accounting teamProvide clear financial guidance to both finance and non‑finance leadersWhat You BringCPA designation or equivalent senior‑level accounting experienceApproximately 8–12 years of progressive accounting and finance experiencePrevious experience as a Controller, Plant Controller, Assistant Controller or senior finance leaderStrong experience within manufacturing, industrial products, distribution or a related environmentDemonstrated knowledge of cost accounting, inventory, standard costing and manufacturing variancesExperience leading budgeting, forecasting, month‑end reporting and financial analysisStrong understanding of Canadian accounting standards, internal controls and audit requirementsAdvanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP and financial reporting systemsProven ability to partner with operations and influence business decisionsStrong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skillsComfortable working in a hands‑on, entrepreneurial and performance‑focused environmentLocation RequirementsThis is a fully onsite position and is not available on a hybrid or remote basis.
