Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager within Pomerleau’s Civil & Infrastructure division, you will play a key role at the heart of the Structures business unit. By leading large‑scale construction and infrastructure projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion, you will work closely with our client groups and subcontractors, acting as an integral part of our project team.

Responsibilities

- Grow and maintain solid relationships with team members, trade partners, consultants, and clients to achieve the project goals and vision.
- Support your project management teams to develop and drive the construction schedule ensuring that completion dates and milestones are met.
- Apply your financial management experience to plan, manage and respect project budgets, costs and associated purchasing.
- Share your knowledge and be a role model through mentorship opportunities with project team members.
- Be an expert in risk management to ensure any associated project risk is minimized.
- Take pride in compiling and completing company‑wide project reports.
- Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection on the project.





Qualifications

- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Project Management in the construction industry.
- University degree or technology diploma in engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
- Master the French language at a professional level.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, persuasive, and problem‑solving skills ensuring project success amid diverse challenges.
- Strong knowledge of construction and project methodologies, financial management, building codes and associated legislation.
- Be a champion and role model for quality and all health and safety best practices.
