Who you are!

A self‑starting Senior Mortgage Underwriter that wants to join our Calgary office. You love winning, and getting paid to do it.

Eyes like a hawk and the adaptability of an octopus – keen attention to detail as well as a demonstrated willingness to pivot and problem‑solve.

You work well in a team‑oriented environment and show willingness to take on tasks as needed. You appreciate a chance to take on special projects and showcase your strengths. The Mortgage Underwriter is an evolving role – it is never a dull moment around here!

Responsibilities

- Analyze and decide mortgage applications within established lending criteria.
- Communicate and liaise with all parties (internal and external) involved in the completion of each mortgage transaction.
- Continually monitor and accurately maintain the mortgage application queue.
- Ensure broker expectations and timelines are met.




- Manage execution of the mortgage commitment including focus on resolving any outstanding conditions prior to funding.
- Review client documentation and mortgage conditions.

Skills Requested

- You enjoy building relationships, using your integrity, candor, and professionalism to win anyone over.
- You can use Microsoft Office Suite effortlessly.
- Exceptionally organized and meticulous.
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
- 3‑5 years of mortgage underwriting experience.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: $70,000.00‑90,000.00 per year (depending on qualifications), plus yearly bonus based on KPIs.
