Our client, a well-established General Contractor with offices in the Greater Montreal and Toronto areas, is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee a major heavy commercial construction project in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage all on-site construction activities from project start to completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
- Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards
- Enforce health and safety regulations and company policies
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager
- Lead site meetings and maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
- Proactively identify and resolve on-site issues to maintain productivity and project timelines.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Site Superintendent,



or a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Foreman working for a General Contractor
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Solid knowledge of commercial construction methods, scheduling, and health and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with construction management software is considered an asset
- Valid driver's license and ability to work full-time in office in Saint John, New Brunswick
