OVERVIEWWe are seeking an experienced Senior Data & Reporting Analyst with a strong background in data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence to support Home Financing product and campaign analytics initiatives. The successful candidate will partner closely with business, product, and analytics stakeholders to translate complex business questions into actionable insights and decision-support solutions.This role is ideal for a proactive, analytically driven skilled who thrives in structured environments, is comfortable working with large datasets, and excels at delivering high-impact analytics in a regulated financial services context.Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days in office per week; Mondays/Wednesdays preferred)Contract Length: 12 Months (Extension and/or FTE Conversion Possible)Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Friday)Pay Rate: $50-55/hourRESPONSIBILITIESAnalytics Strategy & Business AdvisoryAct as a trusted analytics advisor to assigned business and product stakeholders.Consult on analytical solutions to support business strategy, campaign effectiveness, and product performance.Break down complex, strategic business problems into structured analytical approaches and recommendations.Ensure alignment between stakeholder business needs and data/analytics capabilities.Data Analysis, Reporting & VisualizationLead the design, development, and implementation of advanced analytics and reporting solutions.Design and produce regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations for diverse audiences.Structure and assemble multi-dimensional datasets across varying levels of granularity (e.G., customer, product, transaction,
demographic).Integrate data from multiple sources to enable enhanced insights and streamlined reporting.Data Engineering, Modeling & ValidationCleanse, manipulate, and transform data using SQL, SAS, and scripting techniques.Validate, test, and assess analytics models to ensure performance, quality, and compliance.Automate validation tests to improve efficiency and data quality.Apply measurement techniques such as A/B testing and treatment/control frameworks.Analytics Enablement & AutomationPromote reporting automation and self-serve analytics adoption.Support the development of analytics roadmaps, data quality strategies, and reporting standards.Develop tools and training materials to enable non-technical users to consume analytics effectively.Monitor tool performance, support UAT, and address adoption or usability issues.Collaboration, Documentation & GovernanceCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver analytics initiatives aligned with business objectives.Document analytical processes, methodologies,
and operational procedures.Provide specialized consulting and technical support as required.Exercise independent judgment to diagnose and resolve non-routine analytical and reporting challenges.QUALIFICATIONSMust-Have5+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence.Strong hands‐on experience with SQL and SAS (SAS certification required).Demonstrated experience in data preparation, statistical analysis, and model validation.Strong understanding of analytics measurement methodologies (e.G., A/B testing, treatment/control).Advanced data storytelling, visualization, and insight communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment.Technical & Professional SkillsAnalytical and problem‐solving skills – In-depthData‐driven decision making – In-depthVerbal & written communication – In-depthStakeholder influence and advisory skills – In-depthCollaboration and cross‐functional teamwork – In-depthNICE TO HAVESPrior experience in home financing, including mortgages or HELOCs, within a banking environment.RESL analytics experience.Previous experience in regulated financial institutions.Experience leading or supporting analytics projects end‐to‐end.Exposure to R, Python, Power BI, and PowerPoint .EDUCATIONPost‐secondary degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Data, or Analytics (or related discipline).We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
