Our client, a well-established General Contractor from BC, is expanding into the Calgary market and is seeking a Project Manager to lead this growth. Known for delivering high-end Tenant Improvement and New Construction projects across the Financial, Corporate Office, Education, Childcare, Restaurant, and Government sectors, this firm is committed to doing construction differently — leading with innovation, technology, and a people-first culture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead internal project teams, including Site Superintendents and Project Coordinators.
- Manage project startup activities, including issuing contracts, insurance, bonds, and WCB notices.
- Oversee project documentation using Procore and related platforms, including cost coding, submittals, schedules, and change orders.
- Manage subtrades and suppliers, resolving issues that arise throughout the project lifecycle.
- Partner with Site Superintendents to deliver quality results on schedule and on budget.
- Act as the primary client liaison, meeting with architects, consultants, and clients to manage project issues and relationships.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, identifying opportunities to control costs and reporting regularly to management.
- Prepare monthly progress claims and review subtrade/supplier invoicing.
- Take the lead in building new client and industry relationships in the Calgary market.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:





- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial tenant improvement construction as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and sequencing.
- Post-secondary technical education in construction or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and financial reporting with precision.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and leadership skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
- Willingness to travel to sites across Alberta as needed.
