Shape the future of social services education in Cambridge Bay, NU with Nunavut Arctic College. As an Instructor, you'll develop and deliver impactful curriculum for aspiring social service professionals.
This term position focuses on delivering high-quality education and mentoring adult learners for social service careers. With a robust emphasis on Inuit values and cross-cultural experiences, you will engage in curriculum development and practicum coordination. This role ensures students acquire essential competencies for effective community support in Nunavut.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver and evaluate program courses effectively
• Develop engaging curriculum and learning materials
• Support and mentor student learning and success




• Coordinate practicum placements and oversee student experiences
• Contribute to program development and student recruitment
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in social work with three years of experience
• One year of teaching experience at a post-secondary level
• Proven experience in cross-cultural education settings
• Membership eligibility in relevant Social Work associations
• Fluency in Inuktut, English, or French preferred
Contribute to social service excellence and cultural responsiveness at Nunavut Arctic College in Cambridge Bay.
