Pensionable Salary Enhancement - Nurses in eligible classifications may be eligible to earn an additional $5.95/hour when working full-time hours within a prescribed six-month reporting period. (Effective April 1, 2025 – March 31st 2027.)
Position Overview
Experience
- Minimum two (2) years recent Acute Medical.
- Nursing experience in a tertiary care setting experience required
- Charge Nurse experience required.
- Knowledge of computer systems and proficiency in the use of common e-mail and internet software applications required.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
- Current CRNM registration required.
- Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.
Qualifications and Skills
- Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
- Applicants will be assessed against the following selection criteria, as applicable to the position: experience,
education, experience, patient care and clinical knowledge/skills, leadership skills, communication and interpersonal skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, quality improvement, teaching skills, research knowledge, professional development and seniority.
- Current reference(s) may be required upon request.
