Ellari Developments is a growing residential and commercial construction company operating in the Edmonton Region.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Ellari Developments is seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator / Estimator to support residential and commercial projects from pre-construction through completion. This is primarily a site-based role, with on-site presence required as project needs dictate, and hybrid work-from-home days possible when site presence isn't required. Regular travel to project sites, municipal offices, and client meetings across the Edmonton Region should be expected.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate construction activities on site as required, including managing and coordinating suppliers and subcontractors on site to progress construction.

• When not required on site, collect pricing and coordinate construction-related work remotely.

• Prepare detailed construction estimates and quantity take-offs.

• Coordinate municipal permitting and approvals.

• Prepare and manage tender packages.

• Analyze subcontractor and supplier bids and make award recommendations.





• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.

• Manage monthly payment approvals and budget reviews; back charge contractors where required.

• Review and interpret construction drawing packages, specifications, and consultant documents.

• Communicate effectively and professionally with suppliers and subcontractors on site, as well as architects, engineers, municipalities, and other project consultants.

• Track project costs, procurement, and change orders.

• Maintain accurate project documentation using Google Workspace.

• Provide effective, professional, and prompt communication with clients, municipalities, trades, consultants, and project stakeholders.

• Support project reporting and general construction administration.

• Other duties, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in residential/commercial construction estimating or project coordination

• Experience in residential and commercial construction.

• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, permitting, tendering, scheduling, and budgeting.

• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze complete construction drawing packages and specifications.

• Strong ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, and other consultants.





• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Calendar).

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.

• Valid Class 5 driver's licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle for travel throughout the Edmonton Region.

• Basic OH&S; / WHMIS / construction site safety awareness, given regular site visits

• Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Calendar)

QUALIFICATIONS (Preferred, but not required)

• Civil Engineering Technology (CET) diploma

• Engineering-in-Training (EIT) designation or eligibility

• Related education in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a similar discipline.

• Experience with QuickBooks, strong asset

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Primarily site-based, with on-site presence required as project needs dictate. Hybrid work-from-home days possible when site presence isn't required.

• Regular travel to project sites, municipal offices, client meetings, and project-related appointments across the Edmonton Region.

COMPENSATION & PERKS

• Starting salary from $65,000 annually, based on experience (or equivalent contract rate).

• Part-time or contract arrangement options available.

• Flexible hybrid arrangement, project dependent.
