What will you do?

Support portfolio strategy and growth

- Contribute to the development and execution of strategic roadmaps for Sun Life Health’s partner-enabled products and services
- Support the evaluation and prioritization of new product concepts, enhancements, and strategic investments
- Support in the development of business cases, recommendations, and executive materials to support decision-making

Enable successful commercialization of partner-enabled heath solutions

- Develop presentations, sales materials, and value proposition content to support distribution and business development teams
- Collaborate with distribution, marketing, and sales enablement teams to support product launches and ongoing market growth
- Help identify opportunities to improve awareness, adoption, and utilization across sponsors and members

Support product evolution and optimization

- Support the ongoing management and optimization of in-market products and services
- Develop recommendations to help improve product adoption, engagement, customer experience, and business outcomes
- Analyze member, client, operational, and performance data to identify opportunities for enhancement




- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to help translate insights into actionable improvements

Deliver strategic initiatives

- Support cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution, coordinating across internal and external stakeholders
- Build project plans, monitor progress, identify risks, and support issue resolution
- Support governance activities, executive updates, and portfolio reporting
- Help ensure strategic initiatives are delivered on time and aligned to business objectives

Generate insights and recommendations

- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to support business decisions
- Perform market research, competitor analysis, and customer insight gathering
- Synthesize complex information into clear recommendations and executive-ready presentations
- Use dashboards, metrics, and data-driven insights to monitor performance and support prioritization, and continuous improvements

What do you need to succeed?

To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong mix of strategic thinking, product experience, analytical capability, and execution discipline. You are comfortable working through ambiguity, translating insights into practical recommendations, and collaborating across teams to move initiatives forward.

- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to connect customer needs, market trends, product opportunities, and business priorities
- Experience supporting product strategy, product management, innovation, commercialization, or portfolio initiatives
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to work with data, identify insights, assess performance, and develop clear recommendations
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and create executive-ready materials
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence, align, and collaborate across internal and external teams




- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and help move work from concept through execution

Preferred Experience

- 3–5+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, innovation, business strategy, management consulting, portfolio management, or related disciplines
- Experience within health, digital health, insurance, financial services, or technology environments
- Experience working in a large matrix organization is an asset
- Experience working with customer-facing products, services, or digital experiences
- Knowledge of the Canadian health and benefits ecosystem is an asset
- Experience supporting executive-level presentations, commercialization activities, and strategic planning initiatives

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
