The Opportunity

The Recruiter will work to support our Account Managers in building and supporting strategic partnerships for our clients. They will be responsible to assist in the overall recruitment process by identifying, attracting and screening qualified candidates to fill open positions. The successful candidate will do the following:

- Exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality in handling critical and sensitive information, records, and reports.
- Manage candidate sourcing through various channels
- Conduct initial screenings to assess candidate qualifications
- Build and nurture pipelines for future hiring needs
- Assist with job posting creation and optimization
- Communicate regularly with candidates,



providing updates and feedback
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with Canadian employment equity and legislative guidelines
- Support Account Managers with other duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate will have:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in recruitment
- Experience recruiting for Mining and/or Trades positions
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong sense of urgency and time management skills.
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems.
- Confident in the use of computer systems and specifically Apple products
- Onsite work is required

Salary range - $60,000 - $75,000 + commission
