Our client, a manufacturing company located in Vaughan, is currently hiring a Cost & Pricing Analyst to join their Finance team.
This role will focus on standard product costing, customer quotations, pricing analysis and maintaining accurate costing information within the ERP system.
Responsibilities
- Prepare customer price quotations using accurate cost data and margin requirements.
- Maintain product costing, Bills of Materials and standard costs within the ERP system.
- Analyze changes in material, labour, overhead, scrap and manufacturing costs.
- Review product margins and recommend pricing adjustments to management.
- Analyze cost variances, including material price, usage, labour and scrap variances.
- Support month-end costing, inventory analysis and profitability reporting.
- Assist with annual price increases and cost pass-through programs.
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Engineering and Finance.
Required Experience
- 2-3+ years of manufacturing costing, accounting or financial analysis experience.
- Solid experience with standard product costing, BOMs and manufacturing variances.
- Experience preparing customer quotations and conducting margin analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working with an ERP system; SYSPRO is a strong asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- CPA designation or progress toward completion is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills.
