Reporting to the Fire Chief, success in this role depends on your ability to embody the Town's CARE values—being Team-oriented, Accountable, Respectful, and Engaged. You will engage in diverse operations, including firefighting, medical responses, and hazardous material situations. Training sessions will enhance your skills for maintaining equipment and ensuring safety during all procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to alarms and firefighting emergencies
• Inspect and maintain firefighting apparatus and equipment
• Drive and operate departmental vehicles safely




• Attend training programs and emergency evaluations
• Participate in public safety education initiatives
Requirements:
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification from recognized Firefighter Training Program
• Valid Swim Test and Standard First Aid certification
• Class D driver’s license with Z endorsement
• Strong communication skills under pressure
