Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Analyst to support cybersecurity operations within one of the province's most critical security teams. This 24 month contract is based onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities

- Security incident response and investigation
- Security queue management in ServiceNow
- Threat monitoring and analysis
- Firewall administration and rule reviews
- IDS/IPS, web proxy, and network security monitoring
- Network traffic analysis and threat detection
- Privileged Access Management (PAM) administration
- Phishing simulation and security awareness initiatives
- Security reporting, metrics, and stakeholder engagement
- Collaboration with infrastructure, networking, and architecture teams on security remediation efforts

Skills & Qualifications

Must Have

- Strong cybersecurity operations experience
- Security incident response and investigation background
- Network security expertise (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, NAC, ACLs)
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Ability to work full-time onsite in Regina

Desired

- Government or public sector environments
- Security Operations Centers (SOC)
- Incident response and threat hunting
- PAM platforms
- Enterprise network security administration
- Strong communication skills
