Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, full-time Welder position in Bowmanville, ON to work for our client, state-of-the-art manufacturer that produces leading edge products. As a Welder, you will be responsible for the complete welding or fusion of the joints/materials.

- Location: Bowmanville, ON
- Shifts: Afternoons - 4x10's must be available 24/5
- Pay Rate: Welder: $25.58-$30.00 depending on experience, starting hourly rate
- Assignment Type: Full Time | Permanent
- Afternoon premium: 5%

Responsibilities:

- Fabricate new metal components in accordance with product data sheets
- Repair metal components to restore full functionality and safety performance
- Solve problems and develop creative solutions to novel situations that require a fresh approach while still maintaining required standards of safety, stability, and security
- Maintain tools and equipment to a professional standard
- Keep workstation clean and orderly to retain a safe and operational work environment
- Execute welds in a professional manner,



examine work pieces for defects, and measure work pieces with templates
- Work independently or with a small team of other welders to complete large and complex projects
- Manage workflow, meet deadlines, and troubleshoot problems daily, in addition to fabrication duties
- Weld assembly as directed by company standards
- Follow, create, and help maintain welding procedure specifications
- Always keep work area clean and organized
- Weld in flat and vertical planes (all position welding)
- Selects, positions, and aligns and bolts parts or fixtures to be welded

Requirements

- Post-secondary education in welding required
- 3-5 years of experience as a Welder in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with All-Position welding techniques
- Knowledge of applicable safety standards
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to multi-task, detail oriented, analytical, organized
