Job Role: Guidewire Technical Lead/Architect
- The client's preference is still for a candidate who can work 2-3 days onsite in Markham .
- However, if finding the right onsite candidate proves difficult, they are open to considering candidates located anywhere in Canada .
- They are also willing to consider a phased approach , where the consultant starts remotely/onshore and transitions to onsite as the engagement progresses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Guidewire InsuranceSuite solutions for Commercial Lines.
- Define scalable, secure, and cloud-ready architecture aligned with Guidewire best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Drive technical design,
integration strategy, architecture governance, and solution reviews.
- Mentor technical teams and ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Guidewire Architecture.
- Strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter; ClaimCenter and BillingCenter experience is a plus.
- Proven experience implementing Commercial Lines insurance solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud, Guidewire integrations, and architecture best practices.
- Robust understanding of Guidewire configuration, integrations (REST/SOAP), and insurance domain.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
