The Prospect We are hiring a Program Manager, Family Medicine to play a key leadership role in advancing Family Medicine education within the School of Medicine. This new position provides operational leadership and process oversight for the administrative and governance functions supporting the Core Family Medicine residency and Enhanced Skills (FM-ES) programs within the School of Medicine (SoM).



This role supports the Assistant Dean, Primary Care Education, and clinician leads across Family Medicine by ensuring effective program delivery aligned with accreditation standards and institutional priorities. Serving as the primary liaison between Family Medicine’s clinical leadership and the administrative team, the Program Manager translates academic priorities and strategic directions into coordinated operational activities and ensures accountability across program portfolios. In collaboration with the Manager, Clinical Education, the Program Manager also supports integrated planning, alignment, and cohesive delivery of Family Medicine programming with the broader Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) framework. Qualifications To help us learn more about you, please provide a cover letter and resume describing how you meet the following required qualifications: Completion of a post-secondary degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Education, or a related discipline. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in program administration or Program management within healthcare or medical education. Demonstrated experience supporting governance, committee work, and policy development. Demonstrated knowledge of medical education structures, Family Medicine training pathways, distributed medical education models,



community-based training environments, and related accreditation requirements and processes. Strong program management skills, including delegation, monitoring progress, and evaluation of deliverables. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to diverse audiences and prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for committees and stakeholders. Proficiency in using computers and systems, including developing tools, dashboards, and workflows using Google/Microsoft Workspace applications (e.G., Excel/Google Sheets, Word/Docs) and related planning/reporting tools.
