A growing construction company is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to support their active construction projects in Ontario. The Role

The Health and Safety Coordinator will play a key role in supporting and strengthening the company’s health and safety culture across active construction sites. This hands-on position is suited to a construction safety professional who is interested in managing day-to-day site safety requirements while also contributing to broader program development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, ensure compliance, and proactively address issues.
- Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of the company’s Health and Safety Program.
- Ensure safety documentation,



inspections, and corrective actions are completed, tracked, and organized.
- Assist in developing, updating, and implementing health and safety policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Participate in incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Monitor site conditions, worker safety performance, and adherence to provincial legislation.
- Support reporting, trend analysis, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of construction health and safety experience.
- Health and safety certifications such as NCSO, CRSP, or CSP are considered strong assets.
- Experience supporting or contributing to corporate health and safety programs.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
