This role is available as full-time or freelance, with immediate start options.You’ll bring 6+ years of experience building end-to-end applications using modern, cloud-native technologies, and a passion for crafting accessible, inclusive solutions that serve users of all abilities.This is an opportunity to thrive in a highly collaborative, innovation-driven environment—contributing to tools and products that create meaningful, real-world impact.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain full stack applications on cloud platforms with multi-cloud extensibility in mind.Build robust RESTful APIs and microservices using Java-based backend technologies.Develop responsive,



accessible front-end interfaces using React or similar modern frameworks.Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate intelligent features and automation capabilities.Ensure WCAG 2.1 AA compliance and implement inclusive design patterns across all user-facing components.Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and agile ceremonies.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including UX designers, data engineers, and DevOps specialists.QualificationsA minimum of 6 years of professional experience in full stack development.Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Spring Framework) for backend development.Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with willingness to deepen expertise.Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.Experience with containerization (Docker) and familiarity with container orchestration concepts.Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar).Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design principles.Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools.Additional InformationFully remote position; candidates must alreadybe based in Canada and have legal work authorization in the country.Competitive annual vacation program,
